Power raking is NOT recommended for cool season lawns like most of us have here in the front range of Colorado. That is why we don’t offer it! Power raking a Kentucky Blue Grass lawn damages the crown of the grass blade, and causes stress. Instead of power raking, have your lawn mowed down to 2″ in early spring (March) to get rid of all of the dead grass that is on top. This will clean it up nicely and allow the green to grow through much better. We do this for all of our weekly mowing customers.
