Is your weed killer/chemicals/fertilizer safe for pets and Kids?
We get this question a lot.
Our fertilizer is applied seperately from our weed killer, except for the pre-emergent applications. We put down a granular fertilizer and spray liquid for post emergent weed killer. Our fertilizer is pesticide free and perfectly safe after our application. When we apply the pre-emergent, we recommend watering it in before playing or going barefoot into the grass.
Our weed control products are as safe as any chemical weed control products offered. Our pesticide products all have a caution label, which is the lowest risk label put on chemicals. We use caution when applying them, and we ask the homeowners to do the same, by waiting until the products we apply are dry before walking into or entering the treated area of the grass/rocks/mulch etc. After our spray dry’s, your yard is safe to enter. I put these same products on my yard, and I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 kids. These chemicals are only unsafe if mishandled or misused, just like any chemical you may have in your garage, kitchen, laundry room etc.
